Corner Condo or Penthouse?

Ah, one of my millions of floor plan drawings. I really mean that by the way. I can draw dozens of these a day. I could do it all. Day. Long.

This is a more recent drawing. Lately I’ve been interested in designing luxury or semi-luxury apartment homes or condos for established professionals or young professionals. But I need your input! Do you think this should be a modest penthouse unit or just a corner condo?

Details of the unit: 2bed, 2bath, dark hardwood floors throughout the main living area and hall way, square arched and accented hall way and foyer door ways, tile or marble flooring in the bathrooms. Master bath has his and hers counters(white) with square sinks that gradually blend into the counter tops with modern tap on faucets. Guest bath is a simplified version of the grand master bath! Kitchen has light granite counter tops with dark wood cabinets and plenty of storage, high-end appliances. As you can see in the drawing, there is an undefined ‘open’ space. This is a newer addition to my updated version of this floor plan. Usually I try and find a label or use for every space but, not this time. Sometimes we need to ‘de-clutter’. It’s up to the occupants wants in figuring what it needs or doesn’t. I will point out that rectangle against the wall though. It’s a fire place and the focal point of the main living area, designed to effortlessly draw attention. It’s also used as a divide between the open area, kitchen and dinning and the living room.

So… Which should it be? Corner condo or penthouse?
